The construction of the Entrance Terminal was needed to improve the competitiveness of the Port of Plo\u010de. In addition to a modern space, the new Entrance Terminal has the equipment and IT capacities that enable the acceleration and optimization of business processes of all participants in the port community. It gathers all significant port stakeholders in one place: Plo\u010de Port Authority, freight forwarders, control companies, police, customs, etc.<\/p>\n
The Entrance terminal is equipped with cutting edge technologies, in line with the requirements of the most significant European business entities and the requirements necessary for the establishment of the Schengen regime in ports of special (international) economic interest. The value of the construction itself amounted to over 85 million kuna.<\/p>\n
